ABOUT
PeelPack is a pioneering initiative set to transform the fresh produce packaging landscape. By introducing biodegradable and compostable biopolymer punnets, PeelPack aims to replace traditional paper and plastic packaging, significantly reducing the environmental footprint linked to fresh fruit and vegetable distribution and waste management.
FEATURES
We developed a novel class of sustainable biopolymers with high chemical and mechanical stabilities. They are like traditional polymers, but are derived from upcycled bio waste stream.

PeelPack replaces conventional petroleum-based plastics and non-recyclable paper packaging with biodegradable and compostable biopolymer punnets while using the potato peel waste as the raw material and adding value to agricultural byproducts.
